Abstract
Pemahaman konsep matematika merupakan kemampuan dasar yang memampukan siswa untuk menyelesaikan persoalan dengan tepat. Namun, pemahaman konsep matematika siswa belum maksimal. Hal ini ditemukan melalui penelitian yang dilakukan pada siswa kelas X MIPA di salah satu sekolah Kristen di Jakarta yang mana siswa belum mampu mengklasifikasi objek sesuai sifat, menyatakan contoh dan noncontoh dari suatu konsep serta menggunakan konsep untuk menyelesaikan soal matematika. Oleh karena itu, pemahaman konsep siswa membutuhkan pengembangan melalui penerapan model discovery learning berbantuan GeoGebra. Tujuan penulisan tugas akhir ini adalah untuk memaparkan upaya pengembangan pemahaman konsep matematika siswa melalui penerapan model discovery learning berbantuan media GeoGebra. Penelitian ini ditulis dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan perkembangan pemahaman konsep siswa, yaitu: awalnya rata-rata nilai siswa pada indikator 1 adalah 83,33, namun setelah penerapan rata-rata nilai siswa pada indikator 1 mencapai 95,71; awalnya semua siswa tidak mampu menyatakan contoh dan noncontoh dari suatu konsep, namun setelah penerapan seluruh siswa mampu mencapai indikator 2; awalnya rata-rata nilai siswa pada indikator 3 adalah 60,41, namun setelah penerapan rata-rata nilai siswa pada indikator 3 mencapai 87,5. Saran dalam penelitian ini yaitu memperlengkapi kemampuan awal siswa dalam mengoperasikan GeoGebra serta guru juga perlu mempersiapkan instrumen penelitian sebelum melakukan penelitian. / Understanding mathematical concepts is a basic ability that enables students to solve problems appropriately. However, students' understanding of mathematical concepts has not been maximized. This was found through research conducted on class X mipa students at one of the Christian schools in Jakarta where students have not been able to classify objects according to nature, state examples and non-examples of a concept and use concepts to solve math problems. Therefore, understanding students' concepts requires development through the application of GeoGebra-assisted discovery learning models. The purpose of writing this final project is to explain efforts to develop students' understanding of mathematical concepts through the application of the GeoGebra media-assisted discovery learning model. This research was written using descriptive qualitative methods. The results showed the development of students' understanding of concepts, namely: initially the average student score on indicator 1 was 83.33, but after the application of the average student score on indicator 1 reached 95.71; initially all students were unable to state examples and non-examples of a concept, but after application all students were able to achieve indicator 2; Initially, the average student score on indicator 3 was 60.41, but after applying the average student score on indicator 3 reached 87.5. The advice in this study is to equip students' initial ability to operate GeoGebra and teachers also need to prepare research instruments before conducting research.
