Abstract

Kedisiplinan merupakan hal yang penting dalam proses pembelajaran karena dapat membantu siswa untuk lebih fokus, menjaga diri dari perilaku menyimpang dan hal-hal yang menganggu pembelajaran. Melalui disiplin, siswa diharapkan dapat menjadi murid Yesus yang semakin bertumbuh dalam menaati perintah Tuhan yang diterapkan di dalam kelas. Namun, faktanya sikap disiplin masih rendah dimiliki oleh siswa seperti hasil observasi di salah satu sekolah Kristen Jakarta jenjang SMP, ditemukan bahwa masih banyak siswa yang kurang memperhatikan penjelasan guru, menyela guru menjelaskan, tidur di kelas, tidak mengerjakan tugas, memakai pakaian kurang rapi, dan tidak mencatat. Oleh sebab itu, diperlukan penerapan peraturan dan prosedur kelas. Penerapan peraturan dan prosedur kelas berguna untuk meningkatkan sikap disiplin dalam diri siswa karena dapat memberikan arahan terhadap tindakan yang tepat. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah memaparkan tentang penerapan peraturan dan prosedur kelas untuk meningkatkan kedisiplinan siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Berdasarkan hasil pembahasan, penerapan peraturan dan prosedur kelas dapat meningkatkan kedisiplinan siswa. Peraturan dan prosedur kelas harus dilakukan secara konsisten dan disertai dengan pemberian pujian dan konsekuensi agar hasilnya lebih maksimal. Adapun saran ke depannya adalah melakukan penelitian dengan rentang waktu yang lebih lama untuk melihat peningkatan kedisiplinan siswa secara akurat serta menambah instrumen yang lebih mendukung penelitian. / Discipline is important in the learning process because it can help students to be more focused, protect themselves from deviant behavior and things that interfere with learning. Through discipline, students are expected to become disciples of Jesus who are growing in obeying god's commandments applied in the classroom. However, the fact is that the attitude of discipline is still low for students, just like the results of observations at one of Christian schools in Jakarta, at the junior high school level, it was found that there were still many students who did not pay attention to the teacher's explanation, interrupted the teacher to explain, slept in class, did not do assignments, wore clothes were not neat, and did not take notes. Therefore, it is necessary to apply class rules and procedures. The application of class rules and procedures is useful for developing a disciplined attitude in students because it can give direction to appropriate actions. The purpose of this study is to explain the application of class rules and procedures to improve student discipline. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. Based on the results of the discussion, the application of class rules and procedures can improve student discipline. Class rules and procedures must be carried out consistently and accompanied by the provision of praise and consequences so that the results are maximized. The future suggestion is to conduct research with a longer time span to see an accurate improvement in student discipline and add instruments that support research.
