Abstract

Proses belajar mengajar membutuhkan keaktifan siswa dalam belajar. Berdasarkan hasil observasi yang dilakukan, siswa di kelas VII B SLH Tomohon kurang aktif dalam belajar. Hal ini terlihat dari perilaku yang ditunjukkan oleh siswa, yaitu saat diberikan pertanyaan, hanya lima siswa yang sama saja yang berani menyampaikan pendapat atau mengajukan pertanyaan, namun beberapa siswa lainnya masih terlihat kurang percaya diri dalam menyampaikan pendapatnya padahal pendapatnya benar. Ketika guru memberikan kesempatan untuk menyampaikan hasil diskusi, tujuh siswa terlihat ragu-ragu dan saling menunjuk temannya. Beberapa siswa tidak memerhatikan penjelasan guru. Solusi yang diberikan untuk meningkatkan keaktifan belajar siswa yaitu dengan penerapan time token. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui penerapan time token dapat meningkatkan keaktifan belajar siswa kelas VII B di SLH Tomohon dan menjelaskan penerapan time token yang dapat meningkatkan keaktifan belajar siswa kelas VII B di SLH Tomohon. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) model Pelton yang dilaksanakan pada tanggal 25 September sampai 11 Oktober 2018 di kelas VII B SLH Tomohon. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 25 siswa yang terdiri dari 15 orang siswi dan 10 orang siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan antara lain RPP, umpan balik mentor, lembar observasi, dan jurnal refleksi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dengan tiga kali penerapan time token, indikator pertama meningkat dari 80% ke 96% ke 100%, indikator kedua meningkat dari 52% ke 64% ke 88%, dan indikator 3 meningkat dari 12% ke 16% ke 20%. Seluruh tahapan time token juga telah dilaksanakan dengan baik./ Teaching and learning process needs students’ active. The result of observation that had done by writer for teaching students in Grade VII Lentera Harapan Tomohon Junior High School, is students less of active in learning process. It can be identified by their attitude repeatedly, when given the questions by teacher there are only five students that can be brave to answer their opinion, but others students are still lack of confidence for giving their opinion however their answer is right. When students have opportunity to show the result of discussion, seven students are still confused and point each others to give opinions. Some of students not give attention to the teacher. So, writer give solution about implementation time token to improve students learning activeness. The purpose of this reasearch are for knowing the implementation of time token can improve students learning activeness for students grade VII B in SLH Tomohon and to explain the implementation of time token that can increase students active in learning for grade VII B in SLH Tomohon. Reasearch method is Classroom Action Research from Pelton model. This research start at September, 25th, 2019 until October, 11th, 2019 in grade VII in SLH Tomohon. Subject of this research is 25 students such as 15 girls and 10 boys. Instruments that used are Unit Plan, mentor feedback, observation sheet, and reflection journals. Based on the result of the study with three times for implementing time token showing that first indicator increases from 80% to 96% to 100%. Second indicator increases from 52% to 64% to 88%, and third indicator increases from 12% to 16% to 20%. All of the time token steges have also been well implemented by writer.
