Abstract

Berdasarkan hasil pengamatan yang dilakukan dan didukung dengan penelitian terdahulu, dapat terlihat bahwa kemampuan pemecahan masalah yang dimiliki siswa masih cenderung rendah. Terlihat pada saat siswa disajikan soal pemecahan masalah, siswa bersikap menolak dan pada akhirnya tidak mampu mengerjakan soal tersebut. Padahal soal pemecahan masalah matematika dapat mendukung kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa. Kemampuan pemecahan masalah penting sebagai dasar kompetensi matematika dan sebagai bekal menuju kehidupan sehari-hari. Ditinjau dari perspektif Kristen Alkitabiah, kemampuan pemecahan masalah merupakan bagian dari akal yang dianugerahi oleh Allah kepada manusia yang adalah gambar dan rupa Allah. Kemampuan pemecahan masalah harus dikembangkan sebagai bentuk pertanggungjawaban kepada Allah. Tujuan dari penulisan karya ini ialah untuk menganalisis penerapan model PBL dalam mengembangkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa di dalam pembelajaran matematika dalam konteks hybrid. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Hasil penelitian yang dilakukan membuktikan bahwa penerapan model PBL mampu mengembangkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa kelas VII dalam pembelajaran matematika. Selain itu model PBL mampu memperlengkapi siswa menuju kehidupan sehari-hari dengan memiliki kompetensi pemecahan masalah. Saran bagi peneliti selanjutnya adalah memperbanyak pertemuan dalam menerapkan model PBL agar siswa memiliki pemahaman konsep yang lebih baik. Sementara saran untuk guru agar memvariasikan soal pemecahan masalah, contohnya dengan membuat proyek kelompok. / Based on the results of research conducted and supported by previous research, it is seen that students' problem solving abilities are still low. It can be seen that when students are given problem-solving questions, students refuse and cannot solve the problem. Mathematical problem solving questions can support students' problem solving skills. Problem solving ability are important as basic competencies mathematics and as a provision for everyday life. In Bible Christian perspective, the ability to solve problems is part of the mind that God gave to humans as the image of God. Problem solving ability must be developed as a form of accountability to God. The purpose of this paper is to analyze the application of the PBL model in developing students' problem solving abilities in mathematics. The research method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The results of the research conducted proved that the application of the PBL model was able to develop the problem solving abilities of grade 7 in mathematics. The PBL model is able to equip students for real life by having problem solving skills. Suggestion for next researcher is to increase the quantity of meetings in applying the PBL model so that students have a better understanding of the concept. Suggestions for teachers are to vary the problem solving problems, for example by making group projects.
