Abstract

Disiplin merupakan sesuatu yang berkenaan dengan pengendalian diri seseorang terhadap bentuk-bentuk aturan. Berdasarkan hasil observasi di sekolah Jakarta Utara kelas V SD, ditemukan masih ada siswa yang melanggar peraturan dan prosedur kelas. Diperlukan upaya guru dalam menuntun siswa untuk dapat mentaati peraturan dan prosedur kelas. Guru Kristen dimampukan oleh Allah dalam menjalankan peran nya sebagai pendidik untuk menumbuhkan karakter disiplin siswa. Etika Kristen menjadi landasan siswa dalam berperilaku, Etika Kristen merujuk kepada karakter yang menyerupai Kristus. Salah satu karakter Kristus adalah taat, dengan begitu siswa diharapkan juga dapat memiliki karakter serupa dimulai dari disiplin dengan mentaati peraturan dan prosedur kelas. Tujuan dari karya tulis ini untuk memaparkan upaya guru dalam menerapkan peraturan dan prosedur untuk menumbuhkan karakter disiplin siswa kelas lima. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil pembahasan menunjukkan bahwa upaya guru yang konsisten dalam menerapkan peraturan dan prosedur kelas dapat menumbuhkan kedisiplinan siswa. Berdasarkan hasil analisis pembahasan, upaya guru yang menerapkan adanya konsekuensi, pemberian motivasi dan apresiasi kepada siswa dapat membantu menumbuhkan karakter disiplin siswa. Kesimpulan nya adalah upaya guru yang konsisten dalam menerapkan peraturan dan prosedur kelas dapat menumbuhkan kedisiplinan siswa. Saran untuk peneliti selanjutnya menumbuhkan dapat dimodifikasi dengan bentuk peraturan dan prosedur yang lainnya. /Discipline is something related to one's self-control of forms of rules. Based on the results of observations at the North Jakarta class V SD school, it was found that there were still students who violated class rules and procedures. The teacher's efforts are needed in guiding students to be able to obey class rules and procedures. Christian teachers are enabled by God in carrying out their role as educators to foster the character of student discipline. Christian ethics is the basis of students' behavior, Christian ethics refers to a Christ-like character. One of Christ's characters is obedience, so students are also expected to have a similar character starting from discipline by obeying class rules and procedures. The purpose of this paper is to describe the teacher's efforts in implementing rules and procedures to foster the disciplined character of fifth grade students. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The results of the discussion show that consistent teacher efforts in applying class rules and procedures can foster student discipline. Based on the results of the analysis of the discussion, the teacher's efforts to apply consequences, giving motivation and appreciation to students can help foster the character of student discipline. The conclusion is that consistent teacher efforts in applying class rules and procedures can foster student discipline. Suggestions for future researchers to grow can be modified with other forms of regulations and procedures.
