Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan guna mendapatkan bukti dengan empiris perihal dampak dari likuiditas, struktur modal, ukuran perusahaan, dan board size atas kinerja perusahaan bidang consumer non cyclical (CNC) dan consumer cyclical (CC) yang tercatat di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) periode 2017-2021. Dalam observasi ini, digunakan data sekunder yang didapatkan melalui situs www.idx.co.id. Populasi penelitian ini adalah perusahaan sektor consumer non cyclical (CNC) dan consumer cyclical (CC) yang tercatat di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) periode 2017-2021. Sampel perusahaan dalam penelitian ini adalah sebanyak 41 perusahaan per tahunnya, sehingga total sampel adalah 205 data. Metode statistik dalam pengujian hipotesis adalah metode linear berganda. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa likuiditas, ukuran perusahaan, dan board size memiliki pengaruh yang negatif atas kinerja perusahaan. Sedangkan, struktur modal memiliki dampak yang positif atas kinerja perusahaan. Kiranya, penelitian ini dapat digunakan perusahaan untuk lebih mengembangkan kinerjanya lagi, dan dapat digunakan peneliti lain sebagai acuan atau referensi bagi penelitian berikutnya. / This research attempts to obtain empirical evidence on the impact of liquidity, capital structure, firm size, and board size on firm performance listed in IDX on the sector of consumer non cyclical (CNC) and consumer cyclical (CC) during the year of 2017-2021. This observation uses secondary data obtained from the www.idx.co.id site. The population of this research is companies listed on the sector of consumer non cyclical (CNC) and consumer cyclical (CC) during the year of 2017-2021. This research is conducted with samples of 41 companies per year, meaning total of the data is 205. Statistical method that was used to test the hypothesis is multiple linear regression method. The result of this research shows that liquidity, firm size, and board size has a negative impact on firms’ performance. While capital structure has a positive impact on firms’ performance. May this research can be used by the firms to better their performance and be referred by researchers ahead.
