Abstract

Makalah ini mengkaji dampak informasi di internet terkait COVID-19 dan vaksinasi terhadap return saham. Pandemi itu sendiri telah mempengaruhi dunia di setiap sektor dan pasar, termasuk pasar saham. Investor mengambil informasi dari internet untuk membuat keputusan investasi dan selama pandemi COVID-19 dan vaksinasi menjadi minat investor di seluruh dunia. Penelitian ini mengambil sampel return pasar saham Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapura, dan Thailand dari Maret 2020 hingga Februari 2022. Penelitian ini menggunakan random effect untuk menguji model. Temuan dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa GSV (Google Search Volume) Covid dan Vaksin secara bersamaan tidak mempengaruhi return saham. Namun, Vaksin GSV berdampak positif terhadap return saham Indonesia.
