Abstract
Toko Bangunan Kerinci Jaya adalah perusahaan retail yang berdiri sejak tahun 2001 di Kota Malang yang menjual alat-alat konstruksi dan bahan bangunan. Melalui pengamatan visual dan analisis data, kami menemukan bahwa Toko Bangunan Kerinci Jaya memiliki logo dan identitas visual yang tidak mencerminkan citra, nilai, visi atau misinya. Toko Bangunan Kerinci Jaya juga akan melakukan perubahan bentuk bisnis dari toko bangunan yang konvensional menjadi supermarket bangunan yang semi-modern. Identifikasi masalah identitas visual Toko Bangunan akan dibahas lebih lanjut dalam makalah ini. Tujuan dari proyek perancangan ulang identitas visual Toko Bangunan Kerinci Jaya adalah untuk menciptakan identitas visual baru yang relevan, konsisten dan mampu mengekspresikan visi, misi dan nilai-nilai perusahaan. Identitas visual baru ini juga bertujuan untuk meningkatkan citra publik perusahaan. Metodologi yang digunakan dalam proyek perancangan ini adalah metodologi Designing Identity oleh Alina Wheeler. Proses perancangan dilakukan dengan mengumpulkan data melalui penelusuran literatur, penelusuran online, dan wawancara dengan sumber terkait. Data yang diperoleh akan dianalisis untuk mengidentifikasi masalah visual yang ada sehingga dapat menjadi dasar untuk proses proyek redesain ini./Toko Bangunan Kerinci Jaya is a retail company that was founded in 2001 in the city of Malang, which sells construction tools and building materials. Through visual observation and data analysis, we found that Toko Bangunan Kerinci Jaya has a logo and visual identity that does not reflect its image, values, vision or mission. Toko Bangunan Kerinci Jaya will also change its business form from a conventional building shop to a semi-modern building material supermarket. The identification of the visual identity problem of Toko Bangunan is discussed further in the contents of this paper. The purpose of the Toko Bangunan Kerinci Jaya visual identity redesign project is to create a new visual identity that is relevant, consistent and able to express the company's vision, mission and values. This new visual identity also aims to enhance the company's public image. The methodology used in this design project is the Designing Identity methodology by Alina Wheeler. The design process is carried out by collecting data through literature searches, online searches, and interviews with related sources. The data obtained will be analyzed to identify visual problems so that they can be used as a basis for the process of this redesign project.
