Abstract
The issue of the international drug trade through the drug cartels has been associated with Mexico for decades to the extent that the country is called a “Cartel Country.” This phenomenon is due to Mexico’s economic dependency on the drug trade’s growing economic profits that contributes to the country’s national GDP. As the drug trade develops over the years, so do the drug cartels which resulted in Transnational Organized Crime (TOC), narco-terrorism, to happen and cause the country’s underdevelopment/Masalah perdagangan narkoba internasional melalui kartel narkoba telah berkaitan dengan Meksiko selama beberapa dekade hingga negara tersebut dijuluki sebagai “Negara Kartel”.
