Abstract
Pelayanan kerohanian dalam agama Kristen merupakan area yang sangat melelahkan dan memakan waktu, karena pendeta dan juga aktivis tidak hanya melayani pada saat ibadah, namun juga dalam keseharian dan pelayanan non-ibadah lainnya. Menurut beberapa sumber peneliti, hal ini membuat banyak pendeta akhirnya mengalami stress atau burnout yang diduga dipengaruhi oleh tingkat well-being yang kurang baik terutama dalam segi mental dan fisik. Penelitian ini melihat bagaimana differentiation of self–yang juga merupakan salah satu faktor kedewasaan spiritual– berpengaruh dalam meningkatkan well-being pendeta dan para aktivis gereja. Didapatkan bahwa diferensiasi diri memang berkontribusi terhadap well-being terutama dalam dimensi maintaining identity dan emotional distancing, tetapi tidak pada dimensi relational sensitivity.
