Jumlah mahasiswa baru di Indonesia mengalami kenaikan selama tiga tahun terakhir. Setiap universitas harus bersaing untuk menaikkan jumlah mahasiswa baru setiap tahunnya. Walaupun telah melakukan banyak promosi untuk universitas tersebut, tetap terjadi kecenderungan penurunan mahasiswa pada beberapa universitas, yang salah satunya adalah Universitas Pelita Harapan (UPH). Mahasiswa baru UPH terus berkurang terutama yang masuk ke Fakultas Sains dan Teknologi UPH. Sehingga perlu dilakukan studi mengenai pengaruh apa saja yang memengaruhi minat mahasiswa dalam mendaftar program studi, maka dari itu akan diteliti faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi minat mahasiswa dalam mendaftar program studi pada FaST di UPH. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apa sajakah faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi minat para mahasiswa dalam mendaftar program studi pada FaST di UPH. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif. Pengumpulan data akan dilakukan dengan membagikan kuesioner melalui Google Form yang minimum jumlah sampelnya dihitung menggunakan rumus Slovin dengan error 5%. Responden yang mengisi kuesioner adalah mahasiswa FaST angkatan 2020 - 2022. Dan responden kuesioner yang didapat sebanyak 225. Pengolahan data dilakukan menggunakan aplikasi SmartPLS. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah terdapat tiga faktor yang berpengaruh positif dan signifikan. Faktor pertama yaitu external influence dengan indikator yang paling memengaruhi yaitu pengaruh orang tua dan indikator yang paling tidak berpengaruh adalah pengaruh pihak lain, dan faktor kedua adalah campus characteristics dengan indikator yang paling memengaruhi yaitu dosen yang berkualitas. Faktor ketiga yang berpengaruh adalah communication with students yang indikator paling memengaruhinya adalah kunjungan kampus. / The number of new students in Indonesia has increased over the last three years. Each university must compete to increase the number of new students each year. Even though there has been a lot of promotion for the university, there is still a downward trend in students at several universities, one of which is Pelita Harapan University (UPH). UPH's new students continue to decrease, especially those who entering the UPH Faculty of Science and Technology. So it is necessary to conduct a study about the influences that influence student interest in registering for study programs. Therefore, it is necessary to examine the factors that influence student interest in registering for study programs at FaST at UPH. The purpose of this research is to find out what are the factors that influence students interest in registering for study programs at FaST at UPH. This research is a quantitative research. Data collection will be carried out by distributing questionnaires through the Google Form with a minimum sample size calculated using the Slovin formula with an error of 5%. Respondents who filled out the questionnaire were FaST students class 2020 - 2022. And the questionnaire respondents collected were 225. Data processing was carried out using the SmartPLS application. The results of this study are that there are three factors that have a positive and significant effect. The first factor is external influence with the most influencing indicator, namely the influence of parents and the least influential indicator is the influence of other parties, and the second factor is campus characteristics with the most influencing indicator, namely qualified lecturers. The third influential factor is communication with students whose most influential indicator is campus visits.
