Front Office Counter merupakan sikap karyawan yang ditunjukkan pertama kali kepada tamu, pada saat pada saat tamu masuk ke dalam hotel. Mata kuliah front office counter digunakan sebagai materi pembahasan rancangan modul yang dijelaskan bagaimana praktek dalam front office counter, buku modul dapat membantu mahasiswa – mahasiswi dalam melakukan praktek front office counter, namun mata kuliah front office counter tidak memiliki buku modul yang dapat dijadikan panduan pembelajaran mata kuliah front office counter. Oleh karena itu, dibuatkan rancangan buku modul yang akan dicetak full colour yang berisi tentang materi pembelajaran front office counter dan materi pembelajaran ini sudah disesuaikan dengan RPS (Rencana Pembelajaran Semester). Pada buku modul ini berisi tentang topik utama pembahasan, tujuan pembelajaran, deskripsi topik, alat atau bahan yang digunakan dalam front office counter, prosedur yang dapat dilakukan dalam front office counter, rangkuman, evaluasi mandiri, dan referensi. Tujuan dari pembuatan rancangan buku modul ini yaitu : (1) untuk memperlengkapi mahasiswa - mahasiswi program studi pengelolaan perhotelan UPH Tangerang di mata kuliah front office counter. (2) untuk membantu mahasiswa – mahasiswi program studi Pengelolaan Perhotelan UPH Tangerang dalam melakukan praktek front office. The front office counter course is used as material for discussing the design of the module which explains how to practice in the front office counter, the module book can help students in doing front office counter practice, but the front office counter course does not have a module book that can be used as a subject learning guide front office counter course. Therefore, a module book design was made that would be printed in full color which contained front office counter learning materials and this learning material had been adjusted to the RPS (Semester Learning Plan). This module book contains the main topics of discussion, learning objectives, topic descriptions, tools or materials used in front office counters, procedures that can be performed in front office counters, summaries, self-evaluations, and references. The objectives of making this module book design are: (1) to equip UPH Tangerang hotel management study program students in front office counter courses.
