Islamic boarding schools, which are the oldest educational institution in Indonesia, have seen numerous transformations over time. This has prompted Islamic boarding schools to made alterations in their teaching approaches aimed at maintaining their relevance in modern society by helping to addressing contemporary societal concerns, namely environmental issues. This has resulted in the development of the eco-pesantren curriculum, which reinforces the relation between ecological and Islamic principles, particularly in Pesantren Ekologi Misykat Al-Anwar. Considering the above, the research aims to analyse how the eco-pesantren program socialise values of environmental consciousness from an Islamic perspective through its teachings. This study employs a qualitative research approach with a phenomenological research design. The data obtained for this study includes observations and semi-structured interviews with multiple informants from Pesantren Ekologi Misykat Al-Anwar. The secondary sources include multiple books, journals, and news articles regarding the topic. The findings of the research shows that the socialisation process that occurs within the school is consistent with A meaning-entered approach to organisational communication. / Pesantren sebagai Lembaga Pendidikan tertua di Indonesia telah mengalami banyak transformasi seiring waktu. Hal ini mendorong perubahan dalam pengajaran yang ada di pesantren yang bertujuan untuk menjaga relevansinya dalam masyarakat modern dengan membantu masalah yang ada di masyarakat, yang salah satunya adalah masalah lingkungan. Hal tersebut mengakibatkan berkembangnya program eco-pesantren yang mempertegas hubungan antara ekologi dan nilai-nilai Islam, yang terjadi di Pesantren Ekologi Misykat Al-Anwar. Peneitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penilitan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian fenomenologi. Data yang diperoleh untuk penelitian ini meliputi observasi dan wawancara semi terstruktur dengan beberapa informan dari Pesantren Ekologi Misykat Al-Anwar. Sumber sekunder meliputi beberapa buku, jurnal, dan berita mengenai topik tersebut. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa proses sosialisasi yang terjadi di pesantren sejalan dengan pendekatan yang berpusat pada makna dalam komunikasi organisasi.
