Abstract
Pandemi COVID-19 berdampak sangat besar dalam bidang ekonomi terutama untuk pelaku usaha mikro. Oleh karena itu, tim akan menyelenggarakan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat untuk membantu UMKM. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk memberikan ilmu dan keterampilan baru kepada masyarakat. Tujuan dilaksanakannya kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah untuk memberikan pengetahuan dan keterampilan baru untuk anggota yang berada di dalam SML UMKM Centre dan sebagai pemenuhan salah satu syarat kelulusan untuk kelas akademik 2019. Tim akan mengajarkan anggota SML UMKM Centre bagaimana cara mengolah masakan Manado dengan bahan dasar ayam. Ayam adalah salah satu sumber protein yang mudah ditemukan dan ramah di kantong. Pemilihan ayam sebagai bahan dasar masakan bukan semata hanya karena ayam tergolong bahan dasar yang murah, tetapi juga karena ayam kaya akan nutrisi. Ayam mengandung beragam nutrisi penting seperti protein, karbohidrat, lemak, kolestrol, vitamin A, vitamin B1, vitamin B2, vitamin B3, vitamin B5, vitamin B9, vitamin B12, vitamin C, vitamin D, vitamin K, kalsium, kalium, magnesium, natrium, dan fosfor. Melalui kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini diharapkan tim dapat menyalurkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan yang dimiliki kepada para anggota SML UMKM Centre agar dapat menjadi ide produk untuk dijual kedepannya. / The COVID-19 pandemic has had a significant negative effect on the economy, particularly for microbusinesses. In order to help MSMEs, the team will plan community service projects. The goal of community service is to teach the community new skills and information. The goal of this community service project is to teach members of the SML UMKM Center new skills and knowledge and also to fulfill one of the graduation requirements for the 2019 academic class. Members of the SML UMKM Center will learn how to prepare Manado cuisine with chicken as the base. Chicken is an easy-to-find and pocket-friendly source of protein. The choice of chicken as a basic ingredient of cooking is not only because chicken is a relatively cheap basic ingredient, but also because chicken is rich in nutrients. Chicken contains a variety of important nutrients such as protein, carbohydrates, fat, cholesterol, vitamin A, vitamin B1, vitamin B2, vitamin B3, vitamin B5, vitamin B9, vitamin B12, vitamin C, vitamin D, vitamin K, calcium, potassium, magnesium, sodium and phosphorus. Through this community service activity, it is hoped that the team can channel their knowledge and skills to the members of the SML UMKM Center so that they can become product ideas for sale in the future.
