Kemajuan teknologi yang telah membantu masyarakat dalam berbagai hal seperti mempermudah suatu pekerjaan dan menjadi hiburan tersendiri bagi masyarakat, akan tetapi kemajuan teknologi itu sendiri membuat dampak negatif yang dapat dirasakan seperti adanya kejahatan di media sosial. Aplikasi whatsapp sendiri membuat fitur dimana setiap orangnya bisa membuat stiker dan di bagikan kepada orang-orang terdekat tetapi dari stiker tersebut muncul orang-orang yang tidak bertanggung jawab atas perbuatan mereka dimana perbuatan stiker pornografi yang banyak disebar luaskan di sekitar masyarakat. Penelitian ini akan membahas terkait dimana Hukum yang sudah ada di Indonesia dan Sanksi pidana terhadap pembuat stiker pornnografi whatsapp ini dapat di tuntut dengan pasal 1 angka 1 Undang-Undang Nomor 44 Tahun 2008 tentang Pornografi (UU Pornografi) lebih jelas memberikan definisi mengenai pornografi, yaitu gambar, sketsa, ilustrasi, foto, tulisan, suara, bunyi, gambar bergerak, animasi, kartun, percakapan, gerak tubuh, atau bentuk pesan lainnya melalui berbagai bentuk media komunikasi dan/atau pertunjukan di muka umum, yang memuat kecabulan atau eksploitasi seksual yang melanggar norma kesusilaan dalam masyarakat. "Technological advances have helped people in various ways such as facilitating work and entertainment for the community, but technological advances themselves have had a negative impact that can be felt like crime on social media. The WhatsApp application itself makes a feature where everyone can make stickers and share them with those closest to them, but from these stickers people appear who are not responsible for their actions where the actions of pornographic stickers are widely disseminated around the community. This research will discuss related to where the law that already exists in Indonesia and criminal sanctions against the maker of WhatsApp pornnographic stickers can be prosecuted under article 1 number 1 of Law Number 44 of 2008 concerning Pornography (Pornography Law) which provides a clearer definition of pornography, namely drawings, sketches, illustrations, photos, writing, sound, sounds, moving images, animations, cartoons, conversations, gestures, or other forms of messages through various forms of communication media and/or public performances, which contain obscenity or sexual exploitation violating social norms."
