Abstract

Siswa K1 di salah satu sekolah Kristen Jakarta Barat belum memiliki kemampuan motorik halus yang baik. Kemampuan motorik halus pada siswa K1 dapat dilatih dan dikembangkan. Melatih kemampuan motorik halus tepat jika dilakukan pada anak usia 3-4 tahun karena merupakan golden age sehingga pada masa ini anak mudah mengingat dan dilatih. Berdasarkan masalah yang ditemukan, maka tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui peningkatkan kemampuan motorik halus siswa K1 dengan metode bermain menggunakan media playdough dan peningkatan kemampuan motorik halus siswa K1 dengan metode bermain menggunakan media playdough. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) oleh Robert Pelton dengan 19 siswa K1 di salah satu sekolah Kristen Jakarta Barat. Penelitian ini dilakukan 2 kali pertemuan yaitu pada tanggal 17 Oktober 2018 dan 18 Oktober 2018. Teknis analisis yang digunakan ialah analisis deskriptif dan perhitungan sederhana menurut skala Guttman dan Likert. Sedangkan sumber data yang digunakan ialah Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP), umpan balik mentor, jurnal refleksi, wawancara, ceklis, dan observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pada kemampuan motorik halus anak K1 dengan metode bermain menggunakan media playdough. Rata-rata kemampuan motorik halus siswa K1 meningkat 0,68 dari tindakan pertama sebesar 3,78 mejadi 4,64 pada tindakan kedua. Peningkatan ini dapat terjadi ketika langkah metode bermain menggunakan media playdough dilakukan dengan baik yaitu 100%./K1 students in one of Jakarta Barat Christian school are not yet able to use their soft motor skills. Soft mototr skills in students can be develop and need to be train. Train soft motor skills in children from ages 3-4 years old is necessary because they were in the golden age and in this age it is easy to train them because they are capable to remember it. Based on the problem that found in the field, the purposes of this research are knowing K1 student’s soft motor skills improvement using play method using playdough as media and how to improve K1 student’s soft motor skills using play method using playdough as media. The method in this research was Classroom Action Research (CAR) from Robert Pelton with 19 K1 students in one of Jakarta Barat Christian School. This research was held twice: on October 17, 2018 and October 18, 2018. Analysis technique that were used are descriptive analysis and simple calculation according to Guttman and Likert scale. While the data sources used were lesson plans, mentor’s feedback, reflective journals, interviews, checklists, and observations. Research result shows there is improvement on K1 student’s soft motor skills by using the playdough method for playing. The average of K1 student’s soft motor skills increase 0,68. On the first action it presented 3,78 becoming 4,64 on the second action. This improvement happened when the steps of playing with playdough method went well, which is 100%.
