Abstract
In the era of the Industrial Revolution 5.0, information technology, internet technology and production automation technology are used in an integrated manner in a Cyber Physical System (CPS), through this system physical mechanisms are controlled by computer-based algorithms that integrate with the internet and also in their use. Blockchain is a database storage system that contains transaction records called ledgers that are validated, managed, and distributed by computer networks around the world. Once the data is stored, the information cannot be deleted. The blockchain contains a verified record of every transaction that exists or has ever been made. There are several uses in blockchain technology, one of which is the Non-Fungible Token or commonly known as NFT. Keywords in NFT can be seen from Non-Fungible and Tokens. The discussion of this research will focus on how is the legal protection for non-Fungiable Token (NFT) buying and selling transactions in Indonesia? What is the position of the Non-Fungible Token in terms of civil law aspects in Indonesia? With the main objective to analyze what forms of regulation apply regarding the legal protection of buying and selling transactions of Non-Fungible Tokens or NFTs in Indonesia. To analyze how the position of the Non-Fungible Token is regarding aspects of civil law in Indonesia. This writing research method is normative juridical with statutory and conceptual approaches. In buying and selling transactions of Non-Fungible Tokens, there are still no regulations that specifically regulate them. However, this Non-Fungible Token has several links with various legal aspects in Indonesia. NFT is a digital work in the form of music, artwork, and game items that are encrypted on a blockchain network associated with copyright. Concerning copyright is regulated in intellectual property law. the existence of NFTs and all aspects of their transactions also need to be accompanied by the existence of laws and regulations that regulate legal clarity and certainty for business actors involved in the world of digital assets and finance.
