Abstract
Antihiperglikemik adalah penyakit keadaan dimana tubuh mengalami pelonjakan kadar gula darah yang berlebih dan menyebabkan keadaan ini menjadi suatu penyakit yang disebut Diabetes Melitus. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui efek antihiperglikemik, metabolit sekunder, dan dosis efektif dari daun jeruk purut (Citrus hystrix) yang diekstraksi dengan menggunakan metode maserasi dan pelarut Etanol 96%. Uji antihiperglikemik dengan metode induksi glukosa ini menggunakan 25 ekor mencit yang terbagi menjadi 5 kelompok perlakuan, yaitu kontrol negatif, kontrol positif, ekstrak Etanol 96% daun jeruk purut, dosis 100 mg/KgBB, 150 mg/KgBB, dan 250 mg/KgBB. Hasil yang diperoleh, yaitu % rendemen ekstrak Etanol 96% daun jeruk purut sebanyak 11,8% yang mengandung senyawa metabolit sekunder flavonoid, saponin, tannin, steroid, dan fenol. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan Statistical Product and Service (SPSS) dengan uji One-Way ANOVA diperolej hasil terdapat perbedaan yang bermakna (p < 0,05) yang menyatakan bahwa ekstrak Etanol 96% daun jeruk purut memiliki efektivitas dalam menurunkan kadar glukosa darah dengan dosis efektif, yaitu dosis 100 mg/KgBB. Kata Kunci: Antihiperglikemik, Diabtes Melitus, Daun Jeruk Purut, Citrus hystrix, Glukosa / Antihyperglycemic is a condition in which the body experiences excessive spikes in blood sugar levels and causes this condition to become a disease called Diabetes Mellitus. The purpose of this study was to determine the antihyperglycemic effect, secondary metabolites, and effective dose of kaffir lime leaves (Citrus hystrix) extracted using the maceration method and 96% ethanol solvent. The antihyperglycemic test using the glucose induction method used 25 mice which were divided into 5 treatment groups, namely negative control, positive control, 96% ethanol extract of kaffir lime leaves, doses of 100 mg/KgBW, 150 mg/KgBW, and 250 mg/KgBW. The results obtained were 11.8% yield of 96% ethanol extract of kaffir lime leaves which contained secondary metabolites of flavonoids, saponins, tannins, steroids, and phenols. Data analysis was performed using Statistical Product and Service (SPSS) with the One-Way ANOVA test. The results showed that there was a significant difference (p < 0.05) which stated that the 96% ethanol extract of kaffir lime leaves had effectiveness in lowering blood glucose levels with an effective dose. , which is a dose of 100 mg/KgBW.
