Abstract

Pembelajaran dalam kelas berjalan dengan baik apabila siswa memiliki sikap disiplin dalam mengikuti proses pembelajaran. Latar belakang dalam penelitian ini yaitu ketidakdisiplinan, terdapat siswa sering berbicara dan teriak di dalam kelas serta menganggu temannya pada saat proses pembelajaran berlangsung. Siswa tidak duduk rapi seperti kaki diangkat di atas kursi, memotong pembicaraan teman pada saat memberikan pendapat, dan menggunakan hand signal sebelum mendapat ijin dari guru. Selain itu, siswa tidak memperhatikan guru pada saat menjelaskan materi, misalnya tidur-tiduran di atas meja, melihat-lihat kebelakang kelas, dan yang paling sering yaitu berbicara dengan teman lainnya. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk meningkatkan kedisiplinan siswa selama proses pembelajaran sekaligus mengetahui langkah penerapan prosedur kelas yang diterapkan dalam penelitian. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan model Pelton. Penerapan pertama dilaksanakan pada tanggal 09 Oktober 2018 dan penerapan kedua pada tanggal 12 Oktober 2018 kepada siswa kelas 1 di salah satu sekolah Kristen di Medan dengan jumlah siswa yaitu 27 siswa. Bentuk pengumpulan data yang digunakan oleh peneliti adalah RPP, umpan balik guru mentor, refleksi, check-list, dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penguatan prosedur kelas dapat meningkatkan kedisiplinan siswa kelas 1 di salah satu sekolah Kristen di Medan. Hal ini ditandai dengan proses pembelajaran berlangsung dengan baik dengan presentase 92,59%, menghargai hak belajar satu sama lain dengan presentase 98,14%, menggunakan hand signal dengan benar dengan presentase 92,59%. Langkah-langkah penguatan prosedur kelas yang diterapkan oleh peneliti yaitu: 1. menjelaskan prosedur. 2. mempraktikkan prosedur berulang-ulang. 3. memberikan penguatan positif. / Learning activity in the classroom goes well if the students have discipline in the learning process. The background of this research is about discipline, there were some students who often talks and screams in the classroom and disturbing their friends during the learning process. The students did not sit neatly because they put their legs on the chair, cut others’ conversation on discussion, and use hand signal before the teacher give permission. Apart from that, the students did not pay attention to the teacher when the teacher explains the material, lay on the table, always take a look to the back of the classroom, and the most common is speaking with other students. The purpose of this research is to imptove students’ discipline during the learning process and to know the steps of the implementation of class procedure which was applied in the research. This research used Classroom Action Research (CAR) method with Pelton model. The first implementation was done on October 9, 2018 and the second implementation was done on October 12, 2018 to 1st grade students at a Christian school in medan which consists of 27 students. The data sources used by the researcher are lesson plan, mento feedback, reflection, checklist, and interview. The result of research show that the implementation of class procedure can improve 1st grade students’ discipline on a Christian school in medan. It is shown through the learning process which went well with the percentage of 92.59%, respect each other’s right in learning with percentage of 98.14%, use hand signal correctly with percentage of 92.59%. The steps of the implementation of class procedure which applied by the researcher are: 1. Explain the procedures. 2. Demonstrate the procedures continually. 3. Give positive reinforcement.
