Abstract

Selama proses pembelajaran akuntansi, diketahui bahwa setengah siswa dari XII Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial mendapatkan hasil belajar kognitif yang rendah. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan hasil pada tes pertama, terdapat 18 dari 33 siswa dan pada tes kedua terdapat 15 siswa yang memiliki nilai di bawah Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimum yang telah ditetapkan yaitu 73. Berdasarkan pada hasil tersebut, peneliti menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Student Team Achievement Division dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar kognitif siswa dan menjelaksan langkah-langkah model pembelajaran ini dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar kognitif siswa. Penelitian yang dilakukan ini menggunakan metode penelitian tindakan kelas yang dikemukan oleh Pelton. Waktu pelaksanaan penelitian ini adalah 14 Agustus 26 September 2018 dengan melibatkan 33 siswa kelas XII Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial. Hasil data penelitian diperoleh melalui sumber data lembar soal tes individu, ceklist mentor, umpan balik mentor dan jurnal refleksi peneliti. Kesimpulan yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan pembelajaran Student Team Achievement Division dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar kognitif siswa yang ditunjukan dengan tingkat kelulusan siswa dari 48% menjadi 82% serta pencapaian dari setiap indikator adalah 82%, 85% dan 73%. Penerapan Student Team Achievement Division yang dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar kognitif siswa dilaksanakan dengan langkah-langkah sebagai berikut: 1) presentasi kelas yang di dalamnya terjadi proses penyampaian materi oleh guru, 2) pembagian kelompok, 3) pengerjaan secara berkelompok, 4) kuis yang dilakukan secara individu, 5) penghitungan skor kemajuan siswa dalam pembelajaran dan 6) pemberian penghargaan kepada siswa./ During the learning process of accounting, it was known that half students in XII Social class had a problem in term of low academic achievement. It is proven with the result in the first test, there were 18 out of 33 students and in the second test, there were 15 students who got score under the Minimum Criteria of Mastery Learning which is 73. According to the result, the researcher tried to give the solution through applying cooperative learning type Student Team Achievement Division. The aims of this research are to improve students’ cognitive achievement and to know how cooperative learning type Student Team Achievement Division can improve students’ cognitive achievement. This research is Classroom Action Research by Pelton, it was conducted the research during the odd semester in Economy-Accounting lesson on August 14th , 2018 until September 26th, 2018. The participants were 33 students from grade XII Social class. The results were obtained through the instruments which are individual worksheets, mentor’s evaluation sheets, mentor’s feedback, and journal reflection. In conclusion, the implementation of Student Team Achievement Division can improve students’ cognitive achievement from 48% to 82% and the achievement of each indicator is 82%, 85% and 73%. It is applied with the following steps: 1) class presentations, 2) group determination, 3) process of group work, 4) make sure each student received individual worksheets, 5) calculation of student progress scores and 6) group reward.
