Abstract

Hasil belajar kognitif siswa kelas VIII di salah satu sekolah di Lampung sangat rendah dan banyak siswa yang tidak lulus kriteria ketuntasan minimum (KKM) yaitu sebanyak 2 dari 14 siswa atau 14,28% siswa yang lulus KKM dengan nilai KKM ≥ 75. Salah satu penyebabnya dikarenakan model pembelajaran yang kurang memfasilitasi siswa. Salah satu alternatif mengatasi masalah hasil belajar yaitu akan diterapkannya model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe numbered heads together melalui langkah-langkah penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe numberd heads together dengan tujuan meningkatkan hasil belajar kognitif siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) model Pelton. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada 13 September 2018 s/d 25 September 2018. Penelitian dilaksanakan sebanyak 2 kali pembelajaran dengan 14 orang siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan antara lain RPP, jurnal refleksi, umpan balik mentor, lembar checklist mentor dan teman sejawat, lembar checklist siswa, angket siswa, dan hasil tes. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan tipe pembelajaran numbered heads together dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar kognitif siswa kelas VIII sebanyak 11 dari 14 orang siswa atau 78,57% siswa yang lulus KKM pada pelaksanaan pembelajaran 1 dan sebanyak 13 dari 14 orang siswa atau 92,85% siswa yang lulus KKM pada pelaksanaan pembelajaran 2. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan tipe pembelajaran numbered heads together dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar kognitif dengan menerapkan langkah-langkah model pembelajaran dengan tepat. / The cognitive learning outcomes of grade VIII students at a school in Lampung was very low and there were a lot of students who did not pass the minimum passing score, in which only 2 out of 14 students, or 14,28% students who passed the minimum passing score with score ≥ 75. One of the causes was because the learning model that was not properly facilitating the students. One alternative to solve that problem is by implementing numbered heads together cooperative learning model type through following its steps accordingly to improve students’ cognitive learning outcomes. . Research method that is used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) as modeled by Pelton. The research is conducted on September 13th, 2018 until September 25th, 2018. This research is conducted in two meetings with 14 students. The instruments that are used are lesson plan, reflection journal, mentor’s feedback, mentor’s and colleague’s observation checklist, students’ checklist form, students’ questionnaire, and test result. The result of this research shows that the implementation of numbered heads together learning model type could improve grade VIII students’ cognitive learning outcomes by 11 out of 14 students, or 78,57% students who met the minimum passing score on the first meeting, and 13 out of 14 students, or 92,85% students who met the minimum passing score on the second meeting. Therefore, it can be concluded that the implementation of numbered heads together learning model type can improve cognitive learning outcomes by following its steps correctly.
