Abstract
Hasil belajar kognitif merupakan tolak ukur keberhasilan suatu pembelajaran di kelas. Kenyataannya dilapangan, terdapat 16 dari 28 nilai siswa yang tidak mencapai KKM, beberapa siswa sulit dalam menerima konsep, beberapa siswa tidak mampu menyelesaikan soal-soal pertidaksamaan eksponen dan siswa mengatakan sudah memahami materi Pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menerapkan model pembelajaran Student Facilitator and Explaining (SFaE) untuk mengetahui dapat tidaknya meningkatkan hasil belajar kognitif siswa dan menjelaskan bagaimana model pembelajaran SFaE dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar kognitif siswa. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan tanggal 10 Agustus 2018 - 23 Oktober 2018 pada kelas X IPA 4 di salah satu sekolah Kristen di Jakarta Barat pada materi Eksponen dan Logaritma dengan jumlah siswa 28. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian tindakan kelas model Pelton dengan dua kali penerapan tindakan. Tahapan pada penelitian ini adalah melakukan identifikasi masalah, pengumpulan data, perencanaan tindakan, pelaksanaan tindakan, dan hasil penilaian. Untuk mengukur tingkat keberhasilan siswa dalam belajar, penelitian ini menggunakan tes tertulis dalam bentuk esai. Selain itu, ada data pendukung yaitu lembar tes, jurnal refleksi, RPP, dan umpan balik mentor/feedback mentor. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa adanya peningkatan hasil belajar kognitif siswa kelas X IPA 4 pada materi Eksponen dan Logaritma. Peningkatan tersebut dilihat dari nilai siswa yang mencapai KKM di tindakan pertama sebesar 82,1%. Dari tindakan pertama ke tindakan kedua mengalami peningkatan sebesar 3,6 % yaitu menjadi 85,7%. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut maka disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran SFaE dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar kognitif siswa. / Cognitive achievement is used to measure the success of learning in the classroom. According to the fact, there were 16 out of 28 students who did not reach the passing grade, some of the students had difficulties in attaining the concept, some of the students were not able to solve exponential inequality questions and students said they have understood the material. This research implemented the Student Facilitator and Explaining learning model to improve students' cognitive achievement and explain how the SFaE learning model improves students' cognitive achievement. This research was conducted on August 10th 2018 - October 23rd 2018 in class X IPA 4 in one Christian school in West Jakarta on Exponent and Logarithmic topic with 28 students. This research used Pelton model of Classroom Action Research with 2 plan activations. The steps in this research are issue identification, data collection, action planning, plan activation, and outcomes assessment. To measure the students’ success rate of in learning, this research used a written test in the form of essays. Moreover, there are supporting data, namely test sheets, reflection journals, lesson plans, and feedback mentor. The results of this research are there is an improvement in cognitive achievement of class X IPA 4 students in Exponent and Logarithmic material. The improvement value in reaching the passing grade can be seen from pre-action to first action from 42.9% of students to 82.1%. From the first action to the second action it increased by 3.6% to 85.7%. Based on these results it can be concluded that the SFaE learning model can improve students' cognitive learning outcomes.
