Abstract
An insurance agent generally does not have a fixed income, and their income only depends on the bonuses he has received from each client. The same thing is also experienced by the health insurance agent profession, which has several economic challenges when compared to other professions, with an addition of pandemic conditions that add financial challenges to people who work as a health insurance agent. Financial self-efficacy is something that was needed to deal with financial problems. When an agent can solve their financial problem, it will contribute to the state of career satisfaction. Career satisfaction is one of the important indicators to find out if the agent can be successful in the profession. The measuring tools that will be used in this study are Financial Self-Efficacy scale (FSES) and the Career Satisfaction Scale (CSS). This study was conducted with 60 participants on the Java island. The result of this study shows that there were no significant effects between Financial Self-Efficacy and Career Satisfaction (r=0.033). Even with regression test also didn’t show any significant result between variables (r2=0.001). Even if there were no significant results between Financial Self-Efficacy and Career Satisfaction, there were studies that show the importance of Self-Efficacy toward Career satisfaction. Based on the result, it is suggested to the issuance agent to increase their Self-Efficacy towards their career if they want to be satisfied with their career.
