Abstract

Guthrie Govan adalah seorang gitaris virtuoso yang dikenal dengan teknik permainan gitarnya yang memiliki profisiensi yang sangat tinggi, Guthrie Govan memiliki grup yang bernamakan “The Aristocrats” dalam grup ini ada lagu yang berjudul Culture Clash. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis teknik tangan kiri Guthrie Govan pada lagu yang berjudul Culture Clash. Untuk mendapatkan hasil penelitian dilakukan analisis data berupa, transkripsi partitur, analisis transkripsi partitur. Analisa dalam analisis transkripsi partitur menggunakan teori teknik tangan kiri gitar elektrik. Hasil penelitian menunjukan ada beberapa teknik tangan kiri yang menjadi kebiasaan bermain Guthrie Govan
