Abstract
The Sundanese are an indigenous ethnic group originating from the western part of the Indonesian island of Java, especially West Java. Sundanese culture has several cultural ideas and symbols that continue to be involved in human life, even to modern times. The symbol of Sundanese traditional culture can be used as an inspiration in making works of art, and can be used as a medium of a picture of Sundanese traditional culture that continues from generation to generation. By studying Sundanese culture in depth, various kinds of products with elements of Sundanese symbolism as decorative elements can be produced. One of the materials that can support the manufacture of these products is ceramics, namely clay that is burned at high temperatures. Ceramics have been a material that forms human daily objects since ancient times whose remains can still be found today. The design carried out resulting in a household ceramic product in the form of home decoration using hand techniques that presented Sundanese culture so that this product could be used and could be a reminder in a series of unique and distinctive Sundanese culture.
