Thesis entitled “Consumer Protection Law of Villa House From Housing Developer That Is Not Corresponding With The Purchase and Sale Commitment (Case Study Court Ruling Cibinong District Court Number 57/pdt.g/2021/pn.cbi)” focuses on the background of PT. Putra Adhi Prima, Vimala Hills Villa’s housing developer that conceals hidden defects (the existence of a village and cemetery located nearby the villa), in which the said descriptions are not aligned with what have been marketed and offered to consumers, one of them being Ir. Johandi Akman. The following are the problem formulation of this research, 1) How does the housing village consumer protection law protect consumers from the developer of the housing village who committed a construction that did not comply with the agreement in purchase and sale commitment reviewed by civil law? 2) How is the jury law Case No. 57/Pdt.G/2021/Pn.Cbi holding and decision compared to UU No. 1 Tahun 2011 Tentang Perumahan dan Kawasan Permukiman and UU No. 6 Tahun 2023 on the Job Creation Act? The type of research used is normative law research. Literature reviews are used to gather data, and qualitative data analysis using both deductive and inductive methods is used to analyze the data. The conclusion drawn from this study is that PT. Putra Adhi Prima committed an act against the law by failing to provide customers with accurate and pertinent information. As a result, PT. Putra Adhi Prima is obligated to pay the compensation for this act.
