Abstract
Kepedulian masyarakat terhadap lingkungan merupakan suatu hal yang perlu ditumbuhkan di masa sekarang ini. Kepedulian ini bisa hadir melalui pengetahuan dan juga pemahaman mengenai lingkungan sehingga akan lahir sifat menjaga lingkungan. Sebuah permainan papan bernama ‘Ecofunopoly’ menjadi media interaktif yang ingin mengenalkan serta membawa para pemainnya untuk bisa menjaga lingkungan sekitar. Setelah melalui analisa visual serta membandingkan dengan studi pustaka penulis menemukan permainan papan ini masih memiliki permasalahan visual dan representasi terhadap konten yang kurang tepat. Hal ini tentu akan membuat audiens yang menikmati permainan papan berkurang serta tujuan awal kurang dapat tercapai dengan efektif. Setelah melihat teori mengenai papan permainan dan hasil analisa data observasi, penulis melakukan perancangan ulang visual terhadap komponen-komponen permainan yang ada. Metode penelitian yang dilakukan adalah dengan observasi dan play testing. Perancangan ulang papan permainan ini menyelesaikan permasalahan pada mekanisme serta tampilan visual agar pengalaman bermain menjadi lebih menyenangkan dan informasi edukasi tersampaikan dengan lebih tepat. / People's concern for the environment is something needs to be grown in the present. This concern can be present through knowledge and also understanding of the environment so that the nature of protecting the environment will be born. A board game called 'Ecofunopoly' becomes an interactive medium that wants to introduce and bring the players to be able to protect the environment. After going through visual analysis and comparing with the literature, the authors found that this board game still has visual problems and an inappropriate representation of the content. This will certainly make the audience who enjoy board games less and the initial goal less effective. After seeing the theory about board games and the results of the analysis of observational data, the authors performed a visual redesign of the existing game components. The research method used is observation and play testing. This redesign of the game board solves problems with the mechanics and visual appearance to make the playing experience more enjoyable and educational information conveyed more precisely.
