Abstract
Kegiatan belajar mengajar tidak terlepas dari tiga hal, yakni tujuan
pengajaran, proses belajar, dan hasil belajar. Hasil belajar yang baik merupakan
salah satu tanda keberhasilan suatu kegiatan belajar mengajar. Akan tetapi, tidak
jarang hasil belajar yang dicapai siswa tidak sesuai dengan standar yang
ditetapkan. Hal ini yang peneliti temukan pada pembelajaran biologi di sekolah
ABC Ambon. Dalam menghadapi kesenjangan dalam perolehan hasil belajar
siswa, peneliti memanfaatkan media visual dalam proses pembelajaran.
Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan metode PTK model Kemmis & Taggart
dalam dua siklus penelitian. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Agustus sampai
dengan bulan November 2015. Instrumen-instrumen yang dimanfaatkan dalam
penelitian ini antara lain lembar tes, lembar observasi, dokumen media visual, dan
jurnal refleksi peneliti.
Berdasarkan penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan media
visual di dalam proses pembelajran menghasilkan dampak yang positif terhadap
hasil belajar siswa. Karena mampu meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. / There is three aspect of learning activities that can’t be separated from the
learning activities, learning objectives, learning, and learning outcomes. The
succes of learning is characterized by good learning outcomes. However,
sometimes learning outcomes of students not in line with expectation. The
samething happened at school ABC Ambon. Researcher use visual media to
resolve this problem.
Research methods used by researcher is class action research (CAR) with
Kemmis and Mc.Taggart type in two cycle. The research held on august to
nophember 2015. Instruments that used in this research is student’s test sheet,
observation sheets, documents of viual media, researcher’s journal reflection.
Conclusion of this research is the use of visual media in learning activities
can increase students’ cognitive learning outcomes with maximizing brain
function in students’ learning.
