Abstract
Agar dapat berhasil bersaing dengan kompetitor dalam bidangnya, sebuah perusahaan harus memiliki strategi tersendiri, tidak terkecuali perusahaan dalam bidang arsitektur interior. PT. Omah Arsitektur sebagai salah satu perusahaan desain arsitektur interior, berfokus pada konsep desain tropis modern dan menggunakan teknologi selama proses desainnya sebagai strategi mereka. Strategistrategi tersebut diterapkan dalam proses desain untuk mencapai desain yang ideal. Desain yang ideal pada PT. Omah Arsitektur adalah desain yang dapat mengantisipasi iklim dengan baik, memenuhi kebutuhan dan keinginan klien, serta memiliki keunikan tersendiri. Penelitian ini akan membahas bagaimana strategi berperan dan dijalankan dalam proses desain PT. Omah Arsitektur hingga mencapai desain yang ideal melalui pembahasan proses desain yang dijalankan. Selain itu, mengetahui kelebihan dari dijalankannya strategi-strategi tersebut. Analisis dilakukan melalui metode penelitian kualitatif, etnografi, dimana data penelitian ini dikumpulkan melalui wawancara kepada principal dan karyawan PT. Omah Arsitektur. Wawancara semi terstruktur dengan para narasumber dilakukan untuk mendapatkan data yang mendalam sesuai dengan topik penelitian. Penelitian ini dilakukan menggunakan metodologi studi kasus dengan berfokus pada proses desain salah satu proyek dari PT. Omah Arsitektur. Selain itu untuk memperoleh data, peneliti juga melakukan penelitian lapangan dan bergabung sebagai pemagang dalam tim PT. Omah Arsitektur selama 10 bulan./In order to be able to compete successfully with other competitors, an interior architecture design company should have its own strategies. PT. Omah Arsitekture as one of the interior architecture design companies, focuses on modern tropical design concepts and uses technology during the design process as their strategies. These strategies are applied in the design process to achieve the ideal design, a design that can anticipate the climate well, meet the needs and desires of clients, and have its own uniqueness. This paper will discuss how the strategies play a role and apply in the design process of PT. Omah Architects and examine the process itself until the ideal design is achieved. In addition, knowing the advantages of conducting these strategies. The analysis was carried out through a qualitative research method, ethnography, in which the data were collected by interviewing the principal and workers of PT. Omah Architecture, as well as having semistructured interviews with informants to obtain in-depth data while keeping the topic on track. This research uses a case study methodology that focuses on the design process of one of the PT. Omah Arsitektur projects. For data acquisition, researchers undertook a 10-month internship and conducted field research.
