Abstract
Berdasarkan pra siklus yang dilakukan oleh peneliti terhadap siswa kelas
X-1 SMA X di Toraja Utara ditemukan bahwa siswa kurang aktif dalam bertanya,
menjawab, mendengarkan pendapat orang lain, dan mencatat rangkuman saat
pembelajaran Biologi. Hal tersebut disimpulkan berdasarkan jurnal refleksi
peneliti dan umpan balik mentor saat pra siklus. Oleh karena itu, peneliti
memutuskan untuk menerapkan teknik bertanya guru untuk meningkatkan
keaktifan belajar siswa dalam bertanya, menjawab, mendengarkan pendapat orang
lain, dan mencatat rangkuman. Tujuan yang ingin dicapai melalui penelitian ini
adalah mengetahui berhasil atau tidaknya teknik bertanya guru dan menjelaskan
penerapan teknik bertanya guru untuk meningkatkan keaktifan belajar siswa kelas
X-1 SMA X di Toraja Utara pada pembelajaran Biologi.
Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK)
model Kemmis dan Taggart. Penelitian ini melalui tahap pra siklus dan tahap
pelaksanaan berupa perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Penelitian ini
dilaksanakan dalam tiga siklus yaitu pada tanggal 7 Oktober 2015, 21 Oktober
2015, dan 27 Oktober 2015. Peneliti menggunakan beberapa instrumen pada
penelitian ini, yaitu lembar angket siswa, lembar observasi guru (mentor), lembar
observasi teman sejawat dan lembar jurnal refleksi peneliti.
Berdasarkan penelitian ini, peneliti menyimpulkan bahwa penerapan
teknik bertanya mampu meningkatkan keaktifan belajar siswa dalam bertanya,
menjawab, mendengarkan pendapat orang lain dan mencatat rangkuman. / According to the research that was done to grade X-1, SMA X in North
Toraja, it was found that the students are lack of activeness in asking, answering,
listening to other’s opinion and taking notes during Biology lesson delivery. This
finding was concluded based on researcher’s reflection journal and mentor’s
feedback when pre-cycle observation and teaching was done. Therefore, the
researcher decided to implement teacher’s questioning technique to improve the
students’ learning activeness in asking, answering, listening other’s opinion, and
taking notes. The purposes of this research are to know the result of applying
teacher’s questioning technique and to explain how to apply the teacher’s
questioning technique to improve the learning activeness during Biology teaching
and learning process of Grade X-1 students of SMA-X in North Toraja.
Kemmis and Taggart’s model of Classroom Action Research was used in
this research. Pre-cycle observation and teaching was included in this research and
then it was continued by implementation stages: planning, acting, observing and
reflecting, done in three cycles on October 7, 21 and 27, 2015. Researcher used
Student’s Questionnaire sheet, Mentor’s Observation sheet, Peer Observation
sheet and Researcher’s reflection journal as the research instruments.
Based on this research, the researcher concluded that the implementation
of questioning technique done by the teacher can improve the students’ learning
activeness in asking, answering, listening other’s opinion and taking notes.
