Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) Mengetahui apakah metode ceramah memiliki
hubungan dengan persepsi pemahaman konsep siswa kelas IX S pada mata
pelajaran IPA terpadu dan (2) Mengetahui bagaimana hubungan metode ceramah
dengan persepsi pemahaman konsep siswa kelas IX S pada mata pelajaran IPA
terpadu. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif korelasi (hubungan)
dengan desain eksplorasi dengan model pengembangan instrumen. Subjek
penelitian adalah siswa kelas IX S SMP XYZ. Data penelitian diperoleh dengan
angket yang telah diuji coba dan di validasi kepada kelas yang memiliki level
pengetahuan dan level pembelajaran yang sama dengan subjek penelitian. Teknik
analisis data dengan menggunakan uji normalitas, uji linearitas dan menggunakan
pengumpulan kelas interval. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) Metode
ceramah memiliki hubungan yang signifikan dengan persepsi pemahaman konsep
siswa kelas IX S dan (2) Hubungan metode ceramah dengan persepsi pemahaman
konsep siswa kelas IX S lebih kecil dari 0,05 yaitu sebesar 0,001. Dapat
disimpulkan bahwa Metode ceramah memiliki hubungan dengan pemahaman
konsep siswa kelas IX S pada mata pelajaran IPA terpadu. / This research aims to (1) Determine lecturing method has correlation with
perception conceptual understanding students grade IX S in science subject and
(2) Find how correlation lecturing method with perception of copceptual
understanding students at grade IX S in science subject. This research is
quantitative research (correlation). Subject in this research is students grade IX S
junior high school XYZ. Data in this research taken with questionnaire which has
been tested and validated to the class that has same level of knowledge and
learning. Analizing data technique using with normality test, linearity and using
class interval. The results is (1) Lecturing method has significant correlation with
perception conceptual understanding students grade IX S in science subject and
(2) Correlation lecturing method with perception of copceptual understanding
students at class IX S in science subject smaller than 0.05 the value is 0.001. The
conclution is, lecturing method has correlation conceptual perception
understanding with student’s grade IX S in science subject.
