Abstract
Penelitian ini didasarkan pada hasil pengamatan di kelas VII SMP XYZ
Tangerang yang menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar siswa memiliki tingkat
keaktifan yang rendah pada pembelajaran IPA.
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan pengaruh dari model
pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Number Heads Together terhadap keaktifan siswa
kelas VII. Penelitian dilakukan di SMP XYZ Tangerang, sebuah sekolah Kristen
swasta di kota Tangerang pada tanggal 29 Oktober hingga 13 November 2015.
Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian eksperimen dengan
desain equivalent time series. Data kuantitatif untuk mengukur keaktifan siswa
diperoleh melalui instrumen lembar kuisioner. Hasil kuisioner siswa dianalisis
menggunakan uji statistik nonparametrik wilcoxon sign rank test dan uji n-gain.
Hasil dari uji statistik wilcoxon menyatakan bahwa model pembelajaran
kooperatif tipe NHT tidak berpengaruh terhadap keaktifan siswa dalam
pembelajaran. Hal ini ditunjukkan oleh hasil uji wilcoxon sign rank test dengan
nilai signifikansi perlakuan 1 sebesar 0,002, perlakuan 2 sebesar 0,21, dan
perlakuan 3 sebesar 0,8 serta melihat pengaruh pengulangan perlakuan n-gain
dengan nilai n-gain 1 sebesar 0,7 serta n-gain 2 sebesar 0,9. / The study was based on the observation of researcher in grade VII of SMP
XYZ Tangerang that showed, many students have a low level of activity in
learning science.
The purpose of this study was to describe the effect of cooperative
learning model Number Heads Together on students’ activity grade VII. The
study was held in SMP XYZ Tangerang, which is a Christian school in Tangerang
on 29 October to 13 November 2015.
The method of this study used experimental research design with
equivalent time series model. The quantitative data to measure students’ activity
used questionnaire sheet. The results of students’ questionnaire were analyzed
using nonparametric statistic test of wilcoxon signed rank test and n-gain test. The
Conclusion of this study, there was no effect of cooperative learning model
Number Heads Together on students’ activity grade VII in SMP XYZ. This is
shown by the test results Wilcoxon signed rank test with a significance value of
treatment 1 is 0.002, treatment 2 is 0.21, and treatment 3 is 0.8 and the effect of
the repetition treatment with n-gain1 is 0.7 and n-gain 2 is 0.9.
