This thesis discusses the collateral for PT ABC's Medium Term Notes (MTN) in the form of a mortgage on a hotel room unit. The purpose of this study is to find out the current arrangements for debt securities/Medium Term Notes (MTN) in Indonesia and to find out the certainty and legal solutions for creditors who have defaulted on the Medium Term Notes (MTN) they have purchased. This research is a legal research with normative juridical method, namely by studying literature and supported by the results of interviews as supporting data. The results obtained from this thesis research are that the issuance of PT ABC's Medium Term Notes (MTN) is in accordance with the current Medium Term Notes (MTN) regulations in Indonesia and the guarantee for default of the Medium Term Notes (MTN) issued by PT ABC is in the form of a Mortgage Right on a hotel room unit. / Tesis ini membahas tentang jaminan atas Surat Utang/Medium Term Notes (MTN) PT ABC (nama perusahaan disamarkan) yang berupa Hak Tanggungan atas satuan unit kamar hotel. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaturan Surat Utang/Medium Term Notes (MTN) yang saat ini berlaku di Indonesia dan mengetahui kepastian serta solusi hukum bagi kreditur yang mengalami gagal bayar atas Medium Term Notes (MTN) yang telah mereka beli. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian hukum dengan metode yuridis normatif, yaitu dengan studi kepustakaan dan didukung dengan hasil wawancara sebagai data pendukung. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian tesis ini adalah penerbitan Medium Term Notes (MTN) PT ABC sudah sesuai dengan pengaturan Medium Term Notes (MTN) di Indonesia yang berlaku saat ini dan jaminan atas gagal bayar Medium Term Notes (MTN) yang diterbitkan oleh PT ABC adalah berupa Hak Tanggungan atas satuan unit kamar hotel.
