Abstract
Sekolah Kristen XYZ Ambon memiliki visi dan misi untuk menerapkan
pendidikan yang menebus di dalam sekolah yang meliputi proses pembelajaran dan
komponen sekolah lainnya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui
bagaimana pemahaman leaders dan guru tentang pendidikan yang menebus,
bagaimana penerapan pendidikan yang menebus di sekolah ini, serta kendala dan
usaha untuk meningkatkan pendidikan yang menebus bagi sekolah secara
menyeluruh.
Penelitian yang digunakan merupakan penelitian kualitatif grounded theory.
Instrumen yang digunakan adalah wawancara, dokumen, dan observasi.
Narasumber yang diwawancarai adalah 13 guru dan leaders dari Sekolah Kristen
XYZ Ambon. Pengolahan data yang dilakukan adalah dengan analisis koding
terbuka, koding aksial, dan koding selektif.
Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah ditemukannya 5 karakteristik pendidikan yang
menebus yang terdapat di Sekolah Kristen XYZ Ambon yaitu pendidikan yang
memiliki kesadaran akan dosa, pendidikan yang berpusat kepada Kristus,
pendidikan yang memiliki perspektif kekekalan, pendidikan dengan holistik subjek
dan pendidikan yang memuridkan untuk memuridkan. Pelaksanaan pendidikan
yang menebus ini dapat dilihat melalui proses pembelajaran, kegiatan rohani, dan
peraturan yang dilaksanakan di sekolah. Kendala yang dialami dalam pelaksanaan
pendidikan yang menebus ini adalah pola pikir dan pola didik orang tua, guru yang
masih berproses, sekolah yang memulai perangkat baru, murid yang belum
mengerti, dan lingkungan yang kurang mendukung. Usaha yang dilakukan untuk
meningkatkan pendidikan yang menebus adalah membangun komunikasi dengan
orang tua, membangun komunitas sekolah yang sehati, leaders yang membantu,
pendekatan murid oleh guru. / XYZ Christian School Ambon has the vision and mission to implement
redemptive education at school, that includes learning processes and other school
components. The purpose of this research is to figure out the understanding of
leaders and teachers about redemptive education, the application of redemptive
education in this school, as well as the obstacles and the effort to undertaken of
redemptive education towards the school in its entirety.
The research constitutes a theory-grounded qualitative research. The
instruments were interviews, documents, and observation. The interviewees were
13 teachers and leaders of from XYZ Christian School Ambon. The data processing
is conducted by means of analyzing open coding, axial coding and selective coding.
The research showed there were 5 characteristics of redemptive education in
XYZ Christian School Ambon, namely education that has consciousness of sin,
Christ-centered education, education that has eternal perspective, education with
holistic subject and education that disciples for making disciples. The
implementation of redemptive education can be seen through the learning process,
spiritual activity, and implement regulations at schools. The obstacles of
redemptive education have to face is the mindset and teaching patterns of parents,
teachers who are still undergoing processes, schools with new devices, students
who do not understand, and an environment that is not quite supportive. The effort
to undertaken is to build communication with parents, build a unified school
community, leaders who helped, student approach by teachers.
