Abstract
Saat ini,gameonlinesangat sering dimainkan oleh kalangan remaja khususnya remaja laki-laki. Beberapa penelitian menunjukkan bahwagameonlinedapat memicu perilaku agresif pada anak muda. Namun, ada juga beberapa penelitian yangtidak menunjukanhubungan antaragameonlinedan agresi. Penelititertarikmempelajari pengaruh intensitasgame onlineterhadap perilaku agresif remajalaki-laki. Rancangan penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dan jenis rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah korelasional. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui kuesioner. Responden berjumlah 46 orang yang menggunakan purposive sampling.Sejumlah partisipan(31,8%) berada pada kategori intensitasgame onlinerendah.Sebagian besar tingkat agresi beradapada tingkat rendah (39,1%)dan sedang (34,8%). Efektivitas bermaingameonlinesebesar 31,1% yangberarti68,9% variabel lain yang mempengaruhi perilaku agresif terjadi selain intensitasbermaingameonline.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruhnegatif yang signifikan antara intensitas bermaingameonlinedengan perilakuagresif remaja laki-laki.
