Abstract
SLC (Student-led Conference) merupakan salah satu strategi yang dapat digunakan oleh sekolah untuk mengomunikasikan hasil belajar siswa dengan orang tua. Berbeda dengan PTC (Parent-teacher Conference), dalam SLC siswa yang lebih banyak terlibat aktif. Berdasarkan penelitian, model SLC dapat meningkatkan pembelajaran siswa karena siswa yang terlibat aktif dalam pelaksanaannya. Oleh sebab itu, SLH Palopo menggunakan SLC sebagai cara menyampaikan hasil belajar tersebut. Akan tetapi, dalam pelaksanaannya program ini belum pernah dievaluasi secara menyeluruh sejak pertama kali diadakan yaitu tahun ajaran 2013/2014. Evaluasi yang dilakukan menggunakan model evaluasi CIPP (context, input, process, product) dengan menganalisis tiap komponen evaluasi tersebut. Adapun aspek-aspek yang dievaluasi meliputi kebutuhan dan tujuan SLC di SLH Palopo, tools yang digunakan, siklus pelaksanaan SLC, Alur kegiatan SLC, dan produk yang dihasilkan berupa ketercapaian kebutuhan dan tujuan serta umpan balik pelaksanaan SLC di tahun selanjutnya. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi, program ini sudah dilaksanakan dengan baik dalam setiap aspeknya hanya saja perlu beberapa perbaikan ke depan. Berdasarkan evaluasi konteks, sekolah perlu menurunkan kebijakan SLC khusus di tingkat sekolah. Evaluasi input masih perlu memaksimalkan tools yang ada. Evaluasi proses terus memperkuat dan memfasilitasi tindak lanjut SLC 3 bulan terakhir sesuai dengan goal setting yang sudah diisi. Terakhir produk perlu memperhatikan masukan orang tua terutama berkaitan dengan waktu. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi tersebut, maka program SLC ini dapat dilanjutkan dengan rekomendasi-rekomendasi untuk lebih baik ke depannya./ A Student-led conference (SLC) is one of the strategies to communicate student learning outcomes with parents. Different with PTC (Parents-teachers conference), in SLC students are more involved and active. Research found that student-led conference can improve student learning because they more actively engaged to present and discuss about their improvement with their parents. Because of that, SLH Palopo use SLC as a strategy to communicate about student improvement to their parents. However, SLC as a program has never been evaluated comprehensively since it was first held on 2013/2014 academic year. In this research, researcher will use CIPP (context, input, process, product) evaluation model by analyzing each component. The aspects to be evaluated is needs and goal of SLC program in SLH Palopo, SLC’ s tools, SLC’s cycle, SLC’s flow, and product that are needs and goals accomplished, and parents’ feedback about this program next year. Based on evaluation, this program already good in every component, but still has improved to be better next. Based on context evaluation, school need makes a policy special for this program in SLH Palopo context. On input, every tool in SLC needs to be more used effectively. On process, school needs to facilitate activity after SLC based on students’ goal setting and involve parents. On product, facilitate parents’ feedback on next SLC especially about time. Therefore, this program will be continued next year with recommendation so will be better next time.
