Abstract
lembar observasi penerapan model pembelajaran Talking Stick, jurnal refleksi,
model pembelajaran Talking Stick yaitu melalui tahap penjelasan materi, tahap
Based on observations in grade VII, researcher found the problem that in
the science lesson, students are not active in visual activity that is doing the
instruction of researcher such as reading books, activities such oral expression
when the researcher gave the question, of listening such as listening and pay
attention when researcher explained, and mental activities such as responding
when the researcher gave the question. In addressing this problem, researcher
decided to use a learning model Talking Stick. Researcher hope that through the
implementation of learning models Talking Stick can enhance students' learning
activeness and explain the implementation steps of the learning model Talking
Stick.
This research uses a Class Action Research (CAR) model Kemmis and
McTaggart on September 13, September 20, October 18 and November 1, 2016
with the subject 21 students. Data collection is being done by using observation
sheet instrumen student activity, observation sheet learning model implementation
Talking Stick, journal reflections, and student questionnaire sheet. Based on an
analysis of data from a variety of such instruments was found that the students'
learning activeness increased through the implementation of learning model
Talking Stick is through the step of material explanation, the stage of reading
material, the stage of gave a stick and answer questions and express opinions, and
the final stage is a reflection of students and the conclusion by teacher, with
attention to classroom management.
