Abstract
Motivasi kerja cukup berperan penting dalam hidup guna untuk mencapai tujuan perusahaan maupun keinginan individu itu sendiri, hasil survei yang dilakukan oleh Gallup Worldwide (sebuah organisasi riset internasional) menunjukan hanya 8% karyawan di Indonesia yang benar-benar memiliki level engagement yang tinggi, motivasi dan komitmen yang baik dalam pekerjaannya dan sebanyak 92% melakukan pekerjaan yang monoton dan tidak berkembang. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat pengaruh kepuasan kerja dan lamanya bekerja terhadap motivasi kerja seorang karyawan. Penelitian ini menggunakan strategi penelitian spearman yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah adanya pengaruh atau melihat seberapa besar arah dan seberapa besar pengaruh antara variabel-variabel tersebut. Pengolahan data dalam penelitian tersebut menggunakan SPSS versi 27. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan alat ukur Job Satisfaction Survey yang dibuat oleh Spector (1997) untuk variabel kepuasan kerja dan teori dari Herzberg yang telah diadaptasi oleh Herdianti (2011). Hasil penelitian tersebut dapat dilakukan dengan teknik analisis non parametrik karena data yang didapatkan tidak berdistribusi dengan normal. Dari teknik korelasi Spearman ditemukan (r=0.400, p<.001). Sehingga, penelitian tersebut hanya dapat membuat keputusan melalui uji korelasi spearman dan terlihat bahwa variabel kepuasan kerja dan lamanya bekerja memiliki hubungan terhadap motivasi kerja karyawan. / Work motivation plays an important role in life in order to achieve company goals and individual desires, the results of a survey conducted by Gallup Worldwide (an international research organization) show that only 8% of employees in Indonesia actually have a high level of engagement, motivation and good commitment in their work and as much as 92% do work that is monotonous and undeveloped. The purpose of this study was to see the effect of job satisfaction and length of work on an employee's work motivation. This study uses the Spearman research strategy which aims to determine whether there is influence or to see how much direction and how much influence there is between these variables. Data processing in this study used SPSS version 27. In this study, the Job Satisfaction Survey was made by Spector (1997) for job satisfaction variables and Herzberg's theory which was adapted by Herdianti (2011). The results of this study can be carried out using non-parametric analysis techniques because the data obtained is not normally distributed. From the Spearman correlation technique it was found (r=0.400, p<.001). Thus, this research can only make decisions through the Spearman correlation test and it can be seen that the variables of job satisfaction and length of work have a relationship to employee motivation.
