Abstract

Tujuan utama dari tesis ini adalah untuk melaksanakan studi komparatif tentang hukum dan regulasi investasi asing yang berlaku di Indonesia dan Singapura, dengan metode Penelitian normatif empiris. Penelitian ini meneliti berbagai faktor, termasuk hukum investasi, hak milik asing, prosedur registrasi bisnis, perlindungan terhadap investasi, dan pengiriman dana. Meskipun ada beberapa elemen yang sama antara kedua negara, seperti perlindungan investasi dan insentif pajak, namun terdapat perbedaan yang cukup besar dalam hal kenyamanan dan efisiensi investasi asing. Singapura, sebagai contoh, memiliki prosedur registrasi bisnis yang lebih singkat dan lebih sedikit regulasi dibandingkan dengan Indonesia, yang memiliki prosedur yang lebih kompleks dan membutuhkan waktu lebih lama. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan betapa pentingnya memahami kerangka hukum dan regulasi investasi asing sebelum memilih untuk berinvestasi di suatu negara. Studi ini dapat dijadikan referensi bagi investor dan perumus kebijakan dalam membuat keputusan yang lebih akurat dan efisien mengenai investasi asing di kedua negara tersebut. / The main purpose of this thesis is to conduct a comparative study on foreign investment laws and regulations in Indonesia and Singapore, with empirical normative research methods. The study examines various factors such as investment laws, foreign ownership, business registration procedures, investment protection, remittances and tax systems in both countries. Although there are similarities between the two countries, such as investment protection and tax incentives, there are major differences in the convenience and efficiency of overseas investment. For example, Singapore has a shorter business registration process and less regulation than Indonesia, which has a more complicated and time-consuming process. The findings highlight the importance of understanding the legal and regulatory framework for foreign investment before deciding to invest in a country. The survey will serve as a reference for investors and policy makers to make more accurate and efficient foreign investment decisions in both countries.
