Abstract

In this digital era, technology has rapidly advanced, and smartphones have become an important part of daily activities. Especially during the pandemic, people have changed to online activities and have been avoiding direct contact with objects or devices that are frequently touched by others. Therefore, technologies like RFID are increasingly being used for various daily needs. One of the common activities that occurs frequently is employee attendance tracking. To avoid direct contact with attendance devices, a mobile-based attendance application using NFC technology is designed. This application is developed using the waterfall methodology, with UML as the modeling language, and Figma to assist in designing its interface. With the mobile based NFC attendance application, employees can tap their NFC tag on the device provided by company to record their attendance. The attendance data can be viewed on the employee mobile application and the office administrators can also manage employee data records by using the mobile application. / Dalam era digital ini, teknologi telah berkembang pesat dan pemakaian smartphone tidak dapat dipisahkan dari kehidupan sehari-hari. Terutama di tengah masa pandemi, banyak yang beralih ke aktivitas online dan menghindari bersentuhan langsung dengan objek atau benda. Penggunaan teknologi seperti RFID semakin banyak digunakan dalam berbagai keperluan sehari-hari. Salah satu kegiatan yang sering dilakukan adalah kegiatan absensi oleh karyawan. Agar dapat menghindari sentuhan dengan alat absensi, dirancang sebuah aplikasi absensi menggunakan NFC berbasis mobile. Aplikasi ini dikembangkan dengan metodologi waterfall, UML sebagai bahasa pemodelannya dan figma untuk membantu perancangan interfacenya. Dengan aplikasi absensi menggunakan NFC berbasis mobile, karyawan dapat melakukan absensi dengan tap NFC tag pada device kantor dan data absensi dapat langsung dilihat pada aplikasi mobile serta admin kantor juga dapat mendata karyawan yang ada dengan menggunakan aplikasi mobile.
