Abstract

The objective of this study is to analyze the influence of debt-to-equity ratio (DER) and earnings per share (EPS) toward stock price of Index LQ 45 companies listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the period 2017-2021. The research method used in this study is quantitative research method. The data used in this research are secondary data obtained from Index LQ 45 companies listed on IDX from 2017 to 2021. Using the purposive sampling method, 24 companies from Index LQ 45 are chosen as samples resulting in a total of 72 observations. The data analysis method used in this research is multiple linear regressions processed through Statistical Product and Service Solutions 25 (SPSS 25). The result of this study shows that debt-to-equity ratio (DER) has a significant negative influence on stock price partially, whereas earnings per share (EPS) has significant positive influence on stock price partially. Simultaneously, DER and EPS have significant influence on stock price./ Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh terhadap debt-to-equity ratio (DER) dan earnings per share (EPS) terhadap harga saham pada perusahaan Index LQ 45 yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) untuk periode 2017-2021. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penilitian kuantitatif. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data sekunder yang diperoleh dari perusahaan Index LQ 45 yang terdaftar di BEI dari 2017 hingga 2021. Dengan menggunakan metode purposive sampling, 24 perusahaan Index LQ 45 dipilih sebagai sampel dan menghasilkan total 72 objek pengamatan. Metode analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah regresi linier berganda yang diproses melalui Statistical Product and Service Solutions 25 (SPSS 25). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa debt-to-equity ratio (DER) memiliki pengaruh negatif signifikan terhadap harga saham secara parsial. Sedangkan, earnings per share (EPS) memiliki pengaruh positif signifikan terhadap harga saham secara parsial. Secara simultan, DER dan EPS memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan.
