This paper aims to analyze the financial performance of PT XYZ The analysis is conducted by comparing several financial ratios in liquidity, solvency, asset management and profitability categories of PT XYZ with the retail industry average ratios. The data used to calculate the ratios are collected from the balance sheet and income statement of PT XYZ and the other comparable companies from 2014 until 2016. Based on the analysis, the results show that the financial performance of PT XYZ is still bad compared to the retail industry average financial performance. Furthermore, there are some areas needed to be improved to increase the financial performance of PT XYZ such as the inventory management system.
