Abstract
Departemen housekeeping merupakan departemen yang mengambil tugas penuh
soal kebersihan area lingkungan baik di dalam hotel maupun di luar hotel apalagi
di dalam kamar. Peranan seorang room attendant sangat penting pada saat
membersihkan sebuah kamar karena, kebersihan kamar merupakan hal yang
penting agar membuat tamu merasa nyaman saat menginap. Hal tersebut juga
harus di dukung oleh pelayanan, karena jika seimbang maka akan menciptakan
kepuasan tamu saat menginap. Make up room yang cepat juga dapat membuat
tamu memberikan respon yang baik kepada hotel, hal ini dapat meminimalis
complain dari tamu tentang lamanya pengerjaan kamar. Untuk itu jika sebuah
kamar sudah mempunyai reservasi, maka ada baiknya tidak menerima late
check out supaya tidak menghambat pengerjaan room attendant dan tidak
mengganggu jalannya operasional. Oleh karena itu pentingnya bekerja dengan
mengikuti standar operasional prosedur yang ada agar seluruh operasional
pekerjaan dapat berjalan dengan baik dan terhindar dari complain tamu. / Housekeeping department is a department that takes full responsibility for
cleaning environmental areas both inside and outside the hotel, especially in the
rooms. The role of a flight attendant is very important when cleaning a room
because room cleanliness is important so that guests feel comfortable while
staying. This must also be supported by service, because if it is balanced it will
create guest satisfaction during their stay. A quick make-up room can also make
guests give a good response to the hotel, this can minimize complaints from guests
about the length of room work. For this reason, if a room already has a
reservation, it is better not to accept a late check out so as not to hinder the room
attendant's work and not interfere with operational arrangements. Therefore it is
important to work by following existing standard operating procedures so that all
operational work can run well and avoi d guest complaints.
