Abstract
Bible is the absolute truth and the source of knowledge. That is why Christian school expects English teachers implement biblical integration in teaching English. However, English teachers rarely do biblical integration and they struggle how to implement the biblical integration. Therefore, this study aims to explain the schools expectations about biblical integration in the English lesson for English teachers, to describe how Christian English teachers apply Biblical integration in an English classroom, and to identify its challenges and obstacles. The results of this research show that the school’s expectation is mostly to change students’ worldview. To make the students to know that all truth is God’s truth. English teachers bring the students to know God through the English lesson. Having teacher professional development and making the Biblical Christian Worldview Theme are one of the ways that can be used for better biblical integration implementation. Then, the challenges are making the students having a deep reflections and engaging students to think critically. Meanwhile, the obstacle is preparing the lesson plan. Thus, the researcher suggest the future researcher conduct a research covering students perceptions towards biblical integration.
