Pre-service teacher often faces some difficulties in experience their first teaching. A pre-service teacher in one of Christian schools in South Tangerang with twenty-one students in the class is having problem in building the students’ trust. However, having authority as a Christian teacher is very important. There are also some factors found in the pre-service teacher teaching experiences. It is rooted from the heart as a Christian teacher to fully realize that authority is given to us and we need to maintain that authority to be able to build the students’ trust. This paper helps the pre-service teacher to realize and see authority in their self, how Christian pre-service teacher maintain and exercise the authority through their teaching competence daily. It is important for student teacher or pre-service teacher to prepare his or herself before really become a professional Christian teacher.
