Infeksi Saluran Pernapasan Akut (ISPA) menjadi salah satu penyakit infeksi yang rentan menyerang anak dan balita. Penggunaan antibiotik yang berlebihan atau tidak tepat akan mengakibatkan timbulnya resistensi pada suatu bakteri tertentu. Resistensi dapat dicegah dengan penggunaan antibiotik yang bijak, tepat dan rasional. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pola peresepan antibiotik pasien anak dengan diagnosis Infeksi Saluran Pernapasan Akut bagian atas. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian non eksperimental dengan jenis penelitian observasional deskriptif dan bersifat retrospektif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan melakukan pengamatan langsung resep elektronik pasien. Diagnosis ISPA bagian atas di Rumah sakit X adalah rinofaringitis, ISPA tidak spesifik, faringitis akut, tonsilofaringitis, tonsilitis akut, rinitis akut/common cold, otitis media akut. Antibiotik yang sering diresepkan adalah azitromisin, sefiksim, amoksisilin-klavulanat dengan parameter penggunaan tepat indikasi 93,73%, tepat dosis 77,7%, ketepatan frekuensi 100%, dan ketepatas durasi 46,43%./Acute Respiratory Infection (ARI) is one of the infectious diseases that are prone to affect children and toddlers. Excessive or improper use of antibiotics will result in the emergence of resistance in a particular bacterium. Antibiotic resistance can be prevented by using appropriate, wise and rational antibiotics. This study aims to determine the pattern of prescribing antibiotics for pediatric patients with a diagnosis of upper Acute Respiratory Tract Infection. This research is a non-experimental study with a descriptive and retrospective type of observational research. Data collection is carried out by making direct observations on the patient's medical record data and electronic prescriptions. The diagnosis of upper ARI in Hospital X is rhinopharyngitis, nonspecific ARI, acute pharyngitis, tonsillopharyngitis, acute tonsillitis, acute rhinitis/common cold, acute otitis media. Antibiotics that are often prescribed are azithromycin, cefixime, amoxicillin-clavulanate with precise usage parameters of 93,73% indication, precise dose 77,7%, frequency accuracy 100%, and duration accuracy 46,43%.
