Abstract

God created human perfectly to bring His image, but the fallen of human into sin breaks the purpose of human itself which is to bring God’s image and it effect all human aspect in life, and one of them is the education especially student’s character, that is discipline. Because of that, among the various concepts that exist in the field of formal education, classroom management has been considered as one of the integrated functions of effective areas in teaching-learning One of the aspects of classroom management that can help to overcome the obstacle in making an effective learning environment is rules and procedures. Rules and procedure are usually associated student’s discipline that Christian teacher can use to redeem student’s undisciplined character, that bring them to God’s design and purpose in creation. The use of interview result, questionnaire and reflection journal from the researcher become the data for discussing the paper. The result shown the improvement of student’s discipline in classroom and show the importance of the use of rules and procedures. The suggestion given to the teacher and school administration to considering the application of rules and procedure also conduct in-depth research in order to see other effect of rules and procedure toward student’s discipline.
