Abstract
Pada penelitian ini, masalah yang didapati, adalah hasil belajar kognitif
siswa. Jumlah keseluruhan siswa di dalam kelas yang mencapai KKM yang telah
ditentukan belum mencapai standar keberhasilan minimal untuk hasil belajar
kognitif yaitu sebesar 75%. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui
apakah penerapan metode TAI dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar kognitif siswa.
Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah PTK (penelitian tindakan kelas)
yang dilaksanakan pada dua siklus, dengan subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas
IV SD ABC di Ambon yang berjumlah 24 orang. Sebagai sumber data, instrument
yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah lembar tes, lembar checklist, lembar
angket siswa, lembar wawancara dan jurnal refleksi.
Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan, penggunaan metode TAI
(team assisted individualization) dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar kognitif siswa.
Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan tercapainya indikator hasil belajar kognitif siswa yaitu
pada indikator menyebutkan dari 91.67% pada siklus I menjadi 100% pada siklus
II, indikator menjelaskan dari 66.67% pada siklus I menjadi 86% pada siklus II
dan indikator menjawab dari 77.50% pada siklus I menjadi 78.33% siklus II./ The problem that are found in this research is the cognitive and affective
learning outcomes of students. Overall the number of students who passed the
KKM has not reached 75%. The purpose of this research was to investigate
wheter the application of TAI methods could improve cognitive learning
outcomes of students.
The research method that was used is Class Action Research (CAR) with
two cycle. Research was conducted on grade IV SD ABC Ambon that have 24
students. Researcher used the following instruments, Student questionnaire,
student interview, reflection journal, test and checklist form.
Based on this study, the implementation of TAI could improve cognitive
and affective learning outcomes of students. This is shown by the achievement
indicators of cognitive learning outcomes of students, namely on indicator
mentions of 91.67% in cycle I to 100% in cycle II, the indicators explained of
66.67% in cycle 1 to 86% in cycle II and indicators answer questions from
77.50% in cycle I to 78.33% in cycle II.
