Abstract
kelas IV A SD ABC Manado, ditemukan permasalahan mengenai rendahnya
pembelajaran TANDUR yaitu Tumbuhkan, Alami, Namai, Demonstrasikan,
talenta yang mereka miliki untuk kemuliaan Allah./One of the characteristics of teaching and learning activities is the
students’involvement or activeness. Activeness is important to develop the
potential that God has given to every human as the image of God. Students are
required to be active in terms of both physical and psychological to achieve the
expected learning objectives. However, based on observations in class IV A SD
ABC Manado, it was found that the problem is about the lack of students’
activeness while attending mathematics subject. Therefore, this research aimed to
increase students' activity through the implementation of Quantum Teaching’s
learning model.
The research method used is the Classroom Action Research (CAR). The
data collection is done by using observation, interviews and reflections. The
collected data would be explained with descriptive explanations. From the
research results can be concluded that the implementation of Quantum
Teaching’s learning model in mathematics for grade IV can improve student’s
activeness from 63% to 81%. The application of Quantum Teaching model in this
research using learning design TANDUR namely Enroll, Experience, Label,
Demonstrate, Review and Celebrate. Based on the research’s result, it was
concluded that the implementation of Quantum Teaching’s learning model could
improve the students’ activeness during the lesson as the students’ responsibility
to develop their talents and to glorify God.
