Abstract

Minat belajar siswa adalah hal yang harus ada dalam diri siswa. Guru Kristen harus memperlakukan setiap anak – anak Tuhan dengan penuh kasih agar dapat mengikuti proses pembelajaran dan menerima pengetahuan yang diberikan dengan baik. Terdapat fakta yang menunjukkan adanya minat belajar siswa yang rendah dalam mata pelajaran IPS Terpadu kelas VII pada salah satu SMP Kristen di Palembang seperti tidak menaruh perhatian pada pembelajaran, mengobrol saat guru menjelaskan dan mengeluh saat pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan langkah – langkah penerapan metode bervariasi terhadap minat belajar siswa kelas VII. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan metode bervariasi memiliki dampak terhadap minat belajar siswa kelas VII. Penerapan metode bervariasi terhadap minat belajar siswa kelas VII dilakukan dengan langkah perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan dan refleksi. Terdapat saran bagi peneliti selanjutnya, sebaiknya dilakukan pengkajian akan minat belajar siswa menggunakan alat ukur yang lebih valid untuk dapat mengetahui secara signifikan dampak dari penerapan metode bervariasi terhadap minat belajar siswa, bagi guru Kristen untuk dapat menerapkan metode bervariasi dengan melakukan pengkajian terhadap masing – masing gaya belajar siswa yang ada di dalam kelas. / Student interest in learning is something that must be present in students. Christian teachers must treat every child of God with love so that they can follow the learning process and receive the knowledge given well. There are facts that show the existence of low student learning interest in Integrated Social Studies class VII at one of the Christian junior high schools in Palembang such as not paying attention to learning, chatting when the teacher explains and complaining during learning. This study aims to explain the steps of applying varied methods to the learning interest of 7th grade students. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The results showed that the application of varied methods had an impact on grade 7 students' interest in learning. The application of varied methods to the learning interest of seventh grade students is carried out with planning, implementation, observation and reflection steps. There are suggestions for future researchers, it is better to assess students' interest in learning using a more valid measuring instrument to be able to determine the significant impact of the application of varied methods on students' interest in learning, for Christian 2 teachers to be able to apply varied methods by conducting an assessment of each student's learning style in the classroom.
